The BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation works with educators to bring agriculture and food education to students in BC, while 4-H British Columbia works towards empowering youth through knowledge, leadership, citizenship and personal development.

We enjoyed having both educators from the BC Agriculture in the Classroom's Summer Institute Program and young adults from 4-H British Columbia's Food for Thought team tour the farm, where we had a chance to share some of our processes including how we grow mushrooms and some of our sustainability practices too.

We are thankful for the opportunity to share some of our knowledge with those in our community and provide some food for thought as we discussed how we grow our mushrooms and why they can be a great sustainable and nutritious choice!
