Tan Troung moved from Vietnam to British Columbia's Fraser Valley in 1980. In 1989, Tan and his family started a mushroom farm and in 1995 Tan started his own farm as a contracted grower for Money's Mushrooms. During this time, Tan's farm was reputed as one of the best growers in British Columbia. In 2000, Tan moved his production under his own label, Farmer's Fresh. Today, his farm alone produces over 225,000 LBs of mushrooms per week. There are currently 6 farms in total that grow mushrooms for Farmer's Fresh.

With a Diploma in Business Financial Management from BCIT, Kelly Le has over 13 years of management experience. Kelly also brings a unique blend of experience to Farmer's Fresh, from working at her father's mushroom farm and later employment in the composting industry to direct management in a variety of agricultural and industrial sectors.

Garth Mclean, VP Maketing/Sales garth@farmersfresh.com

With an excellent track record in sales management, Garth Mclean has over 25 years of combined experience in marketing, business development and sales. In the mushroom industry, Garth was instrumental in helping a small BC family-owned mushroom farm grow into one of the largest producers of conventional, specialty and organic mushrooms in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. Garth pioneered exporting mushrooms to California and the US Northwest. Garth is also passionate about the growing organic food industry and was instrumental in helping a number of BC mushroom farms obtain organic certification.

Angela brings over 10 years of customer service, sales and logistics experience to the Farmer's team. With many years of experience in the mushroom industry, Angela has refined her business skills in the areas of multi-tasking, account management and new business development.
