Our Farms
All 6 Farmer's Fresh farms are owned and operated by principals of the company.
The majority of Farmer's Fresh farms are audited by Primus Labs under their Food Safety Audit program . This annual audit includes mirco analysis of water sources, the environment, production and the final product.
In February 2009, we scored
100% on our Primus Labs audit
at our largest mushroom farm.
Farmers Fresh is also approved under the Canadian Mushroom Growers Assocatio's On-Farm Food Safety (OFFS) Program. This program complies with the Food Safety Enhancement Program of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and international standards of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
